Before we get ALL THE WAY INTO THIS SHIT, let me make it clear.


I, OUT OF ALL PEOPLE, HAVE NO ISSUES WITH LADIES POSTING UP PICTURES OF THEMSELVES. None. Post away. Please. I appreciate them. No, you don't have to post them. Yes, I could always not 'click on them'. All of that is understood. I'm only addressing it because it has come up in my TL COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE by those who DO CHOOSE TO LOOK and by those who post 'em. @ the aftermath. 

To those that post the pictures, there IS A REASON THAT SOME OF YOU AREN'T GETTING THE RESPONSES THAT YOU DESIRE. No, you can't please all of the people all of the time. I get that. Doesn't mean there isn't a reason though. 

Same panties. 

Same angles. 

Blurry pictures.

Now two out of the three, I kinda have some sympathy for. Every picture isn't going to come out perfect.* I get that. Some are 'in the moment', in the club, etc, etc. Maybe that is a sign that you shouldn't put the picture up. You do know that we will be okay if you don't have a picture up of you 'making a movie' in the club right? lol 


Anyway, back to the reasons.... The mirror you are taking the pictures in is the 'best angle' in your house and shit and you are 'WORKING WITH' what you have. Got it. Definitely want to take pictures where they come out the best. Understood. 


I can't give you a full pass on that one though 'cause the VAST MAJORITY of you have 'the best phone out' (snickers) in the iPhone and according to y'all, it takes the best pictures. It has 'the best camera'...the 'best apps' and all that ole other bullshit. Since this proclamation is echoed all over, I have to ask... 

Why do your pictures always look the same? How are you taking 'blurry' pictures in THE FIRST PLACE THEN? Is it user error? What's good? Are you that unimaginative? If you become a model, expect to cash in on your looks, which I have NO QUALMS ABOUT, are you just gonna do what the photographer asks without giving input? You just gonna lay there? It is bigger than having exotic features and a phat ass you know.. 

Some of you are gonna have to think outside of the box @ the pics. That is if you want to 'get where you think you should be' in this 'picture' game. Now if you don't have those aspirations, cool. Post the way you are posting and STOP READING. This isn't for you. 

I know secretly though, a lot of you do. Some of you have followed my blog and can't figure out 'Why her and not me?" I've seen the tweets. This is why. So step your game up. Take a picture out on Daddy's deck. Use the side mirror on the car if your ass is truly as phat as you think it is. Get YOUR NON DRUNK FRIEND to take the flicks. Borrow a page from the book of Joe (act like you don't know WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT IF YOU WANT) and get someone else to take even those 'self shots'. It will work out better for you. Trust me. 


Instagram isn't the only 'picture altering' game in town. @ filters and such. Not that I'm promoting the 'filter' game 'cause one day I might see you in person and well.....Life has no 'filter'. Pun intended...Get creative...in other words. We get it. Your ass looks phat in your mirror in the bathroom propped up on the sink. Got it.

I would also like to suggest more 'natural' shots. I'm not even gonna 'touch' the duck face shit. Y'all already know it is played. You've said it. (Still do it...but have said it..) 



Now to the panties. 

Touchy subject. I know. Gonna try not to hurt feelings 'cause honestly, that's not my style. If they get hurt though, look in the mirror. Pun intended. 

Look, nobody is suggesting that you have a ton of 'insert whatever the hot new brand of panties/bras/etc' is. What I am suggesting...implying.. HELL IMPLORING.. is that you should have more than 10. Or at least that 'we' should think you do. Now, I know a lot of you are gonna say the following:


"What is a MAN gonna know about telling me, a woman' about how many panties I should have...that's gay..."

A. I'm a parent. A full time parent. Not a check Daddy. Not a 'weekend Dad'. (Shoutout to you holding it down however you got to but that's not me..). Might know what I'm talking about as someone who has to purchase such things for people who some of you ARE NOT TOO FAR REMOVED FROM BEING. @ kids. Some of y'all just now started buying your own panties within the last two years and I know some of you still get that as a gift from your parents as a way to make sure 'that you don't have to spend your money on shit like that'. Trust me. It is okay too. Not a diss. **

B. I've been around women my whole life. I didn't just start 'getting at girls on the Internet' or some shit. Real LIFE INTERACTION around here fam. That said.. I've been in long term relationships where I've had to 'request' the 'sky blue boy shorts with the lace' 'cause I haven't seen 'em in two months. AKA...the cycle of panties has dictated their 'turn' yet. You know why? "Cause she had 30 pair of them joints. Some were one hitter quitters. Never SAW 'EM AGAIN. Ever. So yeah... I might know something about it. Which leads me into.....

Just know that we ARE PAYING ATTENTION though. @ the recycling/I took this today but you didn't thing.. 

Now I mean NO MALICE by this post. I'm truly trying to help some of you. Hence the lack abundant pictures. (Look around, you know I PUT PICTURES UP so...) You can even take this advice and apply it to 'dating' if you like. Hit that nigga with some variety and always keep him guessing. Show him a thigh.. alone...at your desk or something. Keep it fresh. Maybe you give him a flick of just your lips glossed up. I'm giving out free game here ladies... Soak it up.

*Although if you are normal, you probably took about 4 shots to get the right one. Nothing wrong with wanting the shot to 'look right'. Why would you put something out into the World that looked like...never mind.. As you were. @ if you frown upon taking more than one shot.

(Technology) More updates for Android X @Instagram for Android Update Brings New Feature

A shot I altered using the effect...

That is a picture of the screen where you will notice the addition.. It is something that Android users were missing before. I compensated for it by using different apps to make the effect but it is nice to have 'right there'. I will say that.

In case you haven't seen my tutorial on Android for Instagram with a few must have apps, go here. I think it will help you out some. I do all the things you see those with iPhones do and then some with my flicks. It isn't that hard. Trust me.

As far the camera claim and the pictures: 


I think we all knew that the launch wasn't going to be 'smooth'. The last two updates have shown it wasn't 'user error' (even I had said that jokingly...Knowing it wasn't.. I personally disproved that...) It was a system error within the app. Android users weren't even allowed to upload some pictures because they were 'too small'. They fixed that though and with that also fixed 95% of the blurry pictures. Even though I personally went around that issue by using PicsArt to upload pics or KD Collage as I explained in THIS POST..

All you have to do is type in Ware's Faves..I'd say 30% of the RECENT PICTURES came from gals who have Instagram (Yaris, Maliah, Sultry Simone, etc). THEY ALL POST THEIR PICS ON INSTAGRAM. Always have. They are iPhone users... All of them. Most video 'models', vixens, urban models or whatever you want to call them do. We didn't make this shit rachet. It already was.

I had that same issue. Couldn't find a solution. Looked EVERYWHERE. No dice. Here's how I got around it... PicsArt was the starting point as far as getting the collage thing down BUT the APP THAT HELPED ME CRACK THE 'TOO SMALL' CODE was KD Collage (Click the link..takes you right to the app store..Or click the QR codes below) ... I stumbled upon it awhile ago but never had a use for it. Until now. All this time the answer was sitting in my apps. Waiting to be used..smh (Which is a shame actually 'cause I have found OTHER USES FOR IT BESIDES INSTAGRAM NOW..-_-) You have to use the PRO VERSION OF IT THOUGH as it is this version that allow you to post LARGER PICTURES. The free version only does it in 'mobile phone' size which is the problem.*

Yep! You can post to a bevy of places actually. Facebook too. This app just isn't an Instagram add on. I post to Mobli, Facebook and Twitter from this app. I have even taken to posting SINGLE PICTURES from this app 'cause I can tweak it BEFORE I get to Instagram. (I suspect that is what some iPhones users are doing with their pictures to make them 'stand out'.) I now see why folks love the app so much once you know how to get add ons to it. I also see why 'folks who DO TAKE PICTURES' ARE ON THAT 'You aren't a photographer' ish too...lol I see both sides of it now. Both might be right. (Unless you are messing with pictures that you already took..)







Photo Grid works pretty good for those pictures that DO FIT that you have taken with your camera. I don't want to leave that app out. It is a beautiful app as well. I didn't list it first because it doesn't allow (or at least I have figured out how) to resize my pictures to be able to upload them to Instagram. It does do this though:

I saw this the other day... In case you don't want to go through what I've done here. I can't guarantee picture quality but hey...The ONLY issue I see right now with this tutorial is if you aren't on Ice Cream Sandwich, you can't screen shot without a root. If you are rooted, you don't need to do this 'cause you can run numerous apps that screenshot and probably crop/resize as well. *shrugs*





*I am going to go out on a limb and say that pictures are compressed when they are transferred to your phone which is why they are TOO SMALL. If I am wrong, so be it. All I know is that the pictures are the RIGHT SIZE WHEN I USE THIS app. That I do know. I say this because almost ALL OF MY PICTURES I HAVE TAKEN WITH THE CANON are HUGE. Except in their state on my phone... They are too small to post on Instagram as they are on my phone. The only reason I can come up to is that they were compressed to fit on the SD card to begin with. The only other pictures I've had issues with are those taken with my old BB Storm. Lower quality cam so I understand those being 'unacceptable'. I don't have ANY ISSUES with pictures I have taken with the Thunderbolt that I try to put up directly to Instagram though. None.

Today at SXSW, Instagram's Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger told Alexia Tsotsis that an Android version of the app is coming "really soon." We've heard this for several months now, but it seems that the app is finally getting close to launch. On stage, Systrom pulled out a Galaxy Nexus running a prototype of the app, and flashed it at the crowd. He said, "it's one of the most amazing Android apps you'll ever see," and continued, "in some ways, it's better than our iPhone app." The app is currently in private beta, and the team hopes "to have it out to people really soon." During the session's Q&A, he added that the Android app is incredibly fast, works great on a range of larger screens, and has sharing functionality with Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks.
Additionally, Systrom confirmed that Instagram has grown to over 27 million registered users, nearly double the 15 million announced back in December 2011. He explained much of the enormous growth came from the launch of the iPhone 4S, followed by Apple highlighting the app as App of the Year.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak may have waited in line for the release of new iPhones, but he says there are ways Android has leaped ahead of iPhone. In an interview with Dan Lyons for the Daily Beast comparing iPhones with Android phones, the Woz laments the limitations of Apple's smartphone. "My primary phone is the iPhone," the Woz said. "I love the beauty of it. But I wish it did all the things my Android does, I really do." However, don't get the idea that Woz is getting ready to dump the iPhone. He said his main beef is with Siri, which he said no longer works as well as he would like. "I used to ask Siri, 'What are the five biggest lakes in California?' and it would come back with the answer," he said. "Now it just misses. It gives me real estate listings. I used to ask, 'What are the prime numbers greater than 87?' and it would answer. Now instead of getting prime numbers, I get listings for prime rib, or prime real estate." He also said he prefers the GPS navigation on Android phones and he also takes issue with the battery life on the iPhone ("it just started running through the battery so fast"). Despite those gripes, Woz says he still recommends the iPhone, especially for people who might be intimidated by Android's complexity. "The people I recommend the iPhone 4S for are the ones who are already in the Mac world, because it's so compatible, and people who are just scared of computers altogether and don't want to use them. The iPhone is the least frightening thing. For that kind of person who is scared of complexity, well, here's a phone that is simple to use and does what you need it to do," he said.

Verizon Wireless will start selling the iPhone in January of next year, according to a report from Bloomberg. While this is hardly the first Verizon iPhone rumor, Bloomberg is citing two people familiar with the matter.

In the wake of the successful launch of the iPhone 4 (you know, besides that whole antenna thing), a Verizon iPhone would solve the number one complaint US users have about the phone: the carrier.

In the U.S., the iPhone has been under an exclusive contract with AT&T since its launch, and although the carrier originally agreed to a five-year agreement with Apple, the actual specifics of that agreement and what leg-room may exist for bringing the phone to other carriers has never been made public.

Aside from exclusivity contracts, the other big hurdle with bringing the iPhone to Verizon is that the phone would need to be built to be compatible with Verizon’s cellular system. This in turn would require Apple to have two production lines, one for the Verizon phone and one for every other phone.

While having two manufacturing lines may not be the most efficient process, it may become a necessity for Apple, especially as Android sales on the Verizon network continue to rise. With an estimated 53% of Verizon customers saying that they are interested in buying an iPhone with the carrier, the userbase to support such a move certainly exists.

Despite frequent customer complaints over network call quality and call drops, Apple re-teamed with AT&T when offering its 3G data plans for the iPad. However, it is important to note that those plans do not require a contract.

AT&T, meanwhile, has been working hard to update its network and has partnered with companies like McDonald’s and Starbucks to offer free Wi-Fi at those locations, but the problems are still not over. The latest attempt to curb data usage has come in the way of new data pricing plans that put a 2GB limit on iPhone or iPad data (each additional gigabyte of data is another $10 a month).

"Judging from reader comments in this space, there are a lot of cellphone owners in America locked into Verizon (VZ) contracts who would buy an iPhone in a minute if they didn't have to switch carriers to get it.

Verizon has made it pretty clear that it would cut a deal with Apple (AAPL), were it not for a couple of impediments: 1) the contract that makes AT&T (T) the iPhone's exclusive U.S. carrier, and 2) the fact that Verizon's network (based on CDMA2000 technology) is incompatible with Apple's smartphone (which uses W-CDMA (UMTS)).

The first roadblock — AT&T's contract — is set to expire next year, according to a widely cited 2008 USA Today article that included an interview with chairman Randall Stephenson. (Stephenson declined to comment on the details of the contract.)

The second barrier could also disappear were Apple to build a new iPhone that is compatible with both AT&T and Verizon's networks.

Last week, AppleInsider reported on rumors that Apple may be doing just that. Its source was a leaked OTR Global report, based on unnamed sources in Apple's Taiwanese supply chain, that said Apple was making a "worldmode" phone using a new hybrid chip from Qualcomm (QCOM).

"This morning, CDMA inventor Qualcomm announced official plans to release new dual-carrier chips that would enable future phones to work on both its own CDMA/EVDO carrier partners such as Verizon and Sprint, as well as rival 3GPP carriers using UMTS/HSPA+ technologies such as AT&T and T-Mobile. The new chips also provide future support for LTE, the next generation 3GPP standard that most carriers plan to begin testing for deployment globally over the next few years.

However, an analyst has cited sources within Qualcomm in stating that although the company would like to have a dual-mode handset ready in 2010, that would likely be impossible. Ashok Kumar, an analyst with Northeast Securities, told AppleInsider that a dual-mode iPhone from Apple wouldn't exist until 2011 at the earliest.

Kumar said what Qualcomm wants and what they can do are two different things. In order for a dual-mode iPhone to launch in the summer of 2010, such a device would have to be in field trial today.

"They're nowhere near that," he said.

Kumar said he believes it would be a "stretch" for Apple to introduce a dual-mode CDMA/EVDO and UMTS phone in 2010. Instead, he expects a CDMA-only phone specifically made for Verizon Wireless, the largest mobile carrier in the U.S., to debut in the second half of next year."
