Now this is an artist I play EVERY DAY..I mean EVERY DAY. His whole mixtape is on my playlist in the car and at home. On the mp3 player and all of that. Favorite song might be 'Pound' but a close second is the ode to Pimp C...This is good news. MORE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHO HE IS. I put the mixtape up here and some of my followers slept. Maybe now that Rick had put that good stamp on him, you won't. Get familiar.
I kinda figured that he would after the collabos, the fact that him and @Wale were doing things together and things of that nature. Especially after @Wale got signed....
(Meek Mill & Peddi Peddi performing in Philly at The Roots Picnic)
That should serve for even MORE motivation for someone I know....Someone who has shared studio time, stages and such with him. Someone who has him FEATURED on his DEBUT......Another time....(soon actually)..
A lil footage of a BRIEF interview I got with him (Link below of written interview). I can't stress enough. He was about to go on stage and he still sat with me. Much respect for that.
When I sat down with him almost a year ago in April for that BRIEF interview,* I could tell he was focused furthering his career and about helping those he felt needed to be heard to.. What I liked about him was his loyalty and his 'everyday man' approach. Take for example his ties with my boy @shizznitty of @OTRecords. He came down from Philly to support that man that day of the interview. Out of respect for his movement and his music. Not many artists do that. This and several other events, performances, opportunities and the like have garnered him respect in my personal book. He definitely reps his city well and every performance that I have seen of his, from the little presser down Delaware State University to The Roots Picnic performance in June that I caught has been on point. I wish him luck and hope he does well. Rick you got a good one. He works like no other.
*That was my first interview that I hadn't sent to anyone else to 'clean up' AND that I appeared on any camera. So bare with the music and the like as it was more like proof it took place than about me being on camera. I was more concentrating on getting my questions to him than the camera (Shouts out to Mr. Draper. for even filming it as evidence.....Thank you.)
That was me WONDERING by the way. I am not saying he IS. @ Meek Mill. Things look pretty solid relationship wise between him Wale and Rozay so I would think it would be only natural. I mean we ALL have been pretty much saying it is a done deal but we ALL also know that nothing is DONE until the ink is dry.... RICK ROSS THE UNTOUCHABLE MAYBACH EMPIRE SUPERBOWL BLOG DAY 1 from DRE FILMS / MAYBACH FILMS on Vimeo.
Now the question is where is Rick gonna take the whole outfit.....To Atlantic since T.I. is 'down' for the moment? Over there with Puff? Interesting stuff..All we can do is wait and see though...
Jerry Stackhouse.... The two-time NBA All-Star has appeared in 71 postseason games (16 starts) and has averaged 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 30.1 minutes while shooting 37.2 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from three-point range and 83.0 percent from the foul line. Last season, he appeared in seven postseason games for the Milwaukee Bucks averaging 7.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 20.6 minutes while shooting 32.6 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from three-point range and 90.0 percent from the foul line including a 16-point effort in a 107-93 Opening Round Game 3 win against the Atlanta Hawks.
Laugh all you want but he played pretty well for the Bucks last year. Besides, they don't need him to score a ton. Just score a bit. Do more than shoot 3's...Which lets face it, that is what Mike Miller was going to do. Hang out at the three. Hell, he can still come back and do that. Another vet. Why not?
Let me be clear. I need you to SUPPORT the artist whose music you see/hear in the music player here. Some of them are my FRIENDS!! I want them to make money. So while I may put up a link here or there that they didn't 'endorse', it is only out of the love for their music and the fact that I want you to SUPPORT THEM. So please do. Seek out their music. Some of them are VASTLY UNDERRATED and your FAVORITE MUSICIAN loves them. So it isn't 'talent'. It is exposure. Which is all I am trying to give them here..
SO SUPPORT THEM!!!
