Twitter Person of the Week- @Troyshair

 Of course he is the star of these commercials..Which have grown on me....


On the football field is where he has his most impact though....

To quote Terrell Suggs:

 TroysHair is a great follow on Twitter though. He manages to tweet in between plays and keep us abreast of the game as well as interactions with the fans and foes alike.

Now that we have gotten that out of the way let me endorse him in my own words. He is a FUNNY DUDE. He is probably the only person that I follow that types in all CAPS, which may deter some but hey his tweets are worth it. I don't take it personal. Actually, if you listen to his show, you will see why he is typing in all caps. It will make sense.

Upon reading any of his sports tweets you will be able to tell EXACTLY where he is from and who he roots for. lol Fantasy football player? He should be right up your alley. He plays and discusses it and REAL TIME sports too.

Looking for some airplay for that dope music you have? He has access to a radio spot ( I can't PROMISE YOU HE WILL PLAY IT BUT HE DOES GIVE PEOPLE A FAIR SHAKE.) to a radio station that caters to a pretty large in-grown audience that is from ALL OVER THE US in the University of Delaware. He is also an alum so you might want to follow him for that ALONE if you are one too and want to know about the happenings on UD's campus.

If you have been coming to my site, you will notice I put up A LOT OF VIDEOS. If you follow me on Twitter, you will notice that I talk A LOT ABOUT SPORTS. This person is usually RIGHT THERE WITH ME when I am speaking on it. Either via comment or providing videos. He is a media cat. He has been featured in Slam. He is a Celtics fan so you are gonna have to deal with that. Which isn't a bad thing actually since he ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. Not only that, he isn't a 'homer' in that sense anyway. Fan of all sports, current topics and such. Well worth the follow.

He has half of the damm media outlets following him 'cause he gets the videos up and out in a hurry. Need that new Boondocks? He can lead you to it. He is 'next' in Philly. Cats IN Philly and on the mixtape scene already know about him. As do some folks here as he has TAKEN over the radio/club on more than one Saturday night or two. It is time for the rest of World to do so. He signed to a deal with Grand Hustle in '08 and has been out there grinding BEFORE and AFTER this signing. I am sure some of you heard about that. I picked him for two reasons. He is an up and coming artist. His music CONVERTED me into a fan. I will be HONEST. I had heard of him but had him lumped in with the rest. I was encouraged to do some research by someone not affiliated with him at the time. The music got me. The boy can SPIT. You hear me? He can go. He is official. For real. Second reason? He will be performing this weekend. Yes, THIS WEEKEND. In Delaware. With my boys.

That is right, Meek Mill, Shizz Nitty and the whole OT Records crew are putting on a show in honor of the boy Tega Montana. If you live in the Tri-State area (NJ,DE,PA or even MD) or will be in the area, come on down. This will not be a 'fly through' performance where you see them in the VIP and they 'speak' on the mic for 5 minutes in between the DJ spinning. No sir. All parties involved WILL be performing. Okay, so if you are a Philly/NJ/DE person, I don't have to tell you who she is. You already know. But IF YOU AREN'T, then you don' know about the Midday Princess. She is a radio personality on the POWER station in Philly. (Power 99) She is also one of my favorite tweeters. She does tweet back but most of the time when she is on, she is ON THE AIR, so it may take a minute for her to get back to you. She posts up all types of stuff for the radio station as far as giveaways and stuff. She is a fun follow for sure. She even featured my blog on her personal blog awhile ago during the summer.

Twitter Person(s) of the Week- djbelle & Kokupuff

These are two of my favorite bloggers. I can DEFINITELY see them doing it big on a national scale sooner than later. The offset each other so well. Now they each have their own Twitter accounts but collectively, they have a blog. It is on the side in the blog 'roll' actually but I will link it here.

Twitter Person of the Week- DJ BRAN

This young man right here HAS SOME SERIOUS SKILLS. Anytime your Pops is the DJ at a popular roller skating rink, you know YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO GOOD MUSIC and the art of DJing. DJ BRAN is no exception. Here is a lil excerpt from his bio at DJBRAN.COM





"Throughout high school, Bran was DJ’in his own homecoming and Prom dances. While still at the skating rink, His dad brought Artist and Local radio personalities to hype up the sessions. Bran was then discovered by Pooch man of “The Hot Boys” on Power 99 in 2003 and was invited to be a guest DJ their night show. In 2004 his father told him about a mix contest at 92q, a popular hip hop radio station in Baltimore Maryland. The long drive was worth it to Baltimore and Bran was picked to be interviewed live on the air. Building a name during high school from being interviewed on local radio, He started to DJ the local teen parties in Delaware. Doing many events graduated him to doing clubs, and Bran wasn’t even 21 or old enough to get in. At age 17 he was the youngest in the club and you would have never thought it was a kid on the turntables pleasing crowds of age 21+."


So as you can see, once again, this is a person that is DEFINITELY on the rise. He is also the DJ for OT Records and has a HEAVY HAND (read between the lines people) in the mixtapes that are coming out of that camp. All of his mixtapes feature seamless transitions and 'very minimal talking and yelling'. Which I love.
