I am not saying THEY ARE THOSE AFOREMENTIONED GROUPS (although their 'energy reminds me of such) nor am I really here to MOLD YOUR MUSICAL TASTES. Now this is coming from a person who SAW ALL OF THOSE GROUPS LIVE. Not from someone who watched video and shit. So miss me with the 'You don't know what you are talking about' shit. I SAW THEM. My big brother or hip hop mentor didn't 'tell me' all about it..lol So yeah, I saw shades (that means parts for those of you deficient in English) of them. Not too cool for school if you will. Speaking their minds and not worrying about whether 'we' are 'into stuff like that' and the like. I am all for that. You also have to remember that they are KIDS. They will grow as artists hopefully. I hope to hear more from them. I have some folks that have been down with them from the beginning that told us they were coming though so they didn't come from under a rock.
I dug the performance. Not just 'cause it was the The Roots backing 'em either...They did their thing. I can see why the kids like 'em. Hope they do well. I ain't mad at 'em......I caught it live so I wasn't going to post it. I changed my mind...
